my little black and white friend is no more, this time last week he was catching mice, pleading with me for tuna or ham, trotting up down the garden to see the chickens, tapping on the window to get my attention, jumping on my lap when I’m trying to eat, drinking out of the bird bath, and generally being good company…..bye bye

Along part of the Boudicca Way. Boudicca also know as Boudica and / or Boadicea. Not sure why the three versions of her name, but either way she told the Romans what for. Did she ever walk this path. I doubt it - but it was cool anyway, quite literally.

Thought that I add some stuff to the blog as I’m in between jobs, both the paying sort and the gardening sort - yes, despite the drought it’s throwing it down and blowing a gale - so I can’t even get outside being a fair weather gardener only!
As you can see by the photo, I’m still able to telling a cracking good joke - or maybe it was because my hat just blew away… particularly nice wall I thought.
